I think this person means, NOT and external link, but an addition to the link that allows for the dialog to open when directly linked.

Example:

www.website.com/our-team

Shows entire plugin,

www.website.com/our-team#doug-benson

Shows 'our team' BUT with 'Doug Benson's' dialog window already open. the 'load more button'

My idea is not to link a member to an external link. What I was looking for is to have a URL that leads to the member info that we have in your plugin. Now we can't share/link to a particular member, we can share the whole team page but not a particular member. This would be interesting when a member is mentioned in another page.

However, I believe we already have such an option.

Please go to your widget's Content tab → choose a member → Contact information → Website.
