Hide menu item instead of deleting

It would be nice to be able to hide a menu item instead of just deleting it. Often an item is only gone for a short period of time, and it would save the trouble of having to recreate the menu item/price. Very useful!

    Dear friends,

We're stocked to say that now you can hide items in your Restaurant Menu widgets! 🎉

This is how you can do so:

    1. Go to your widget's Menus tab

    2. Choose the item you need to hide

    3. Scroll down to Show in Menu and deactivate the option

You can test things out in our online Restaurant Menu demo!

And your feedback is most welcome in the comments below 🙂

    Hello Tomas,

Thanks a lot for your interest in this feature!

I'm afraid we update our cloud widgets first and haven't planned to add this feature to the Shopify version yet. I've been in contact with our dev team and they will try to add this task to their roadmap.

Meanwhile, you're welcome to use our cloud solution which already supports this feature :)

    Thank you for your understanding!

    Hello folks,

Thanks a lot for your comments!

I'm really sorry that this option hasn't been released yet, and I realize how handy it could be.

The good news is that our dev team are considering this feature to be included in one of the nearest updates :) I wish I could be more specific about the timeline, but we really hope it might be released within a couple of quarters.

Thanks a lot for your patience!

Yes, there should be an activate/deactivate option for individual items. When things sell out its time consuming to have to re-create the item when it sells in. A slider similar to what you have on the main screen to activate menus is ideal.
