Have the ability to set WHEN the the pop-up should be active.
It could be as simple as from: date/time to: date/time
Or more advanced like: weekends, weekdays
Additionally have an option to deactivate this or any other plugin without having to modify he code on the website.

I totally see your point, and I agree that it would be a nice option to set the publishing date. We have a similar request, so I'm merging yours with this one for now: https://wishlist.elfsight.com/ideas/PU-I-37. All the updates will be sent to you via email as well, so don't worry.
As for the deactivation option, I guess we already have something along the lines: you can hide any widget without uninstalling it in your Elfsight dashboard. Please check out this articles with more info: https://help.elfsight.com/article/867-hiding-a-widget.
