I do see your point, there are things that stay relevant over time, and I understand your desire to hide the publication date. We'll try to consider this option in one of our future updates :)
Sometimes your Podcasts are timeless but it looks outdated if the publication date is years back. It would be very convenient to have the ability to hide the publication date in the Podcast Player.
