integrate the smugmug (and other 3rd party photo cloud storage) API into the photo galleries to allow photographers a way to embed photos and galleries within their WP websites.
Several years ago there were less than a handful of plugins that did this, but over the years they have stopped working because of the API updates WP core updates etc... so now there are many photographers stuck and wishing there was a new plugin that could do this for us in 2020!

We do try to consider all the ideas you share with us, however, such integrations might appear to be quite complicated, requiring more time.

Very interested in this our whole library is in smugmug, I want it to stay there as my WP server is small and I don�t see why I would pay twice. Currently I have external reference with thumbnails in WP and I would like it to stay that way with a supported plugin. Only interested in SmugMug
