    Hi Pedro,

A huge thank you for this detailed comment, it's just awesome!

Our devs have access to all the threads here, and I'm sure this info will come in really handy.

I wish I could set an ETA for such development, but what I can say for sure is that, unfortunately, we will not be able to start building a new app in the near future. I'm extremely sorry about this, but I guess it's better to be honest.

Anyway, thank you for providing the details, I'm sure they will be extremely helpful! 🙏🏻

    Hey Helga!

What comes to my mind is a video player with Elfsight's style where we can fully customize it (as usual with all widgets).

    • Different pre-defined skins/themes

    • Player Status or title where we can write anything like "Live"

    • Enable tv station or channel logo (custom logo upload)

    • Set video Aspect Ratio (16:9, 4:3, 12:5, 9:16)

    • Insert Google Analytics tracking ID

    • Video AutoPlay option (on/off)

    • Start video muted (on/off)

    • Player poster image (a background image that will be visible before hitting play and after hitting stop button)

    • If possible a custom background when status is offline or not streaming (custom image like we're offline now)

    • Floating player option when scrolling (would be great)

    • Custom button layout that when clicked opens the video in a pop-up (would be great)

    • And a lot of fun for CSS like:

      • Title / Status bar color change

      • Play button color (play arrow)

      • Play button color (circle behind play arrow)

      • Control bar color

I hope this help, let me know if you need some light on any specific point. :-)

    Hi Pedro,

Thank you for adding your idea!

Live Streaming widget does sound like a great option, and we'll try our best to think in this direction in the future.

But if you come up with any details of what options and features you'd like to see in such a widget, please feel welcome to share them in the comments. It'll be a huge help :)

Thanks a lot for your contribution!
