Example

3 times per sessions and restart after 24hours

5 times per session never restart

1 times per sesion restart after 1 hour

    Pretty sure pixelpop have a similar feature for their ads and banners regarding frequency. we use them as well and its a handy feature to not bombard visitors with constantly having to close banners and things each page or each visit
