maybe on the announcement page for the Donation form widget you can place a link to the Paypal Button Widget, mentioning that Donation works with that one already?

Meanwhile I found out, that your Paypal-Widget does have a Donation (free custom amount) option already and you also can activate credit card payment with that.
This is already a great help. I was not aware of it. I thought that widget just works with fixed prices.

We have to confess that our development team is swamped with a copious amount of urgent tasks, that's why we had to hit the pause on new widgets development.
The bitter truth is that at the moment we lack the resources, but we're doing everything possible to figure it out.
I assure you we do everything in our power to get back to working on new widgets, but I'm afraid I'm not able to provide any ETA.
