WCAG compliance

Please consider a way to for screen readers such as NVDA, Jaws, or Vox Chrome plugin to read the content for the Instagram Feed with alt text for each image, and have the widget be better accessible with keyboard tabbing. The idea with keyboard tabbing is that it is easy to tab through all the content inside the widget with a keyboard. Currently it skips the hidden content that users with seeing abilities can click through to with the carousel arrows.

    Hello folks!

Thank you for this idea and for your comments!

We understand that this feature might be crucial for you, and we're really sorry that our widget is still not WCAG compliant.

We do have plans to study this issue, however, I'm afraid I can't promise we'll be able to implement it in the nearest future.

Our dev team do the best they can to maintain and improve all the widgets, and we're terribly sorry that not all feature requests get released as soon as we'd love to.

Thanks a lot for your understanding!

It might be good to display an option setting on the "Other" tab to select whether to show alt text associated with the image in Instagram, show the post text as alt text (which is currently done) or show both.
