I have created a form & added a dropdown field in it but there is no option to select default option from number of options. Is it possible? Can you please help?

This is how you can select default option in your Dropdown field:
Go to your widget Build Form tab
Add Dropdown field
Set the needed options
Find Selected Option section and choose the one you need to set as default
