I wish you would add the ability to add custom filters to the calendar. For example; The ability to filter events by tags or location(city as opposed to venue). The majority of the event calendars that I've used prior to ElfSight have all had this capability. I think it's a very important asset to any online event calendar.

Nearly 3 years on, and still do not have this feature.
From a coding standpoint, I cannot see why not.
If you do not have the time to add the code to add custom filters, just add the ability to RENAME the three fixed ones you give us.

I totally understand your feelings and I'm truly sorry that Custom Filters are not supported yet.
I've consulted our development team and although they added this feature to their roadmap, they are afraid it is unlikely that it will be released among the first ones. I'm very sorry about it!
It surely doesn't mean that the feature will be abandoned, and we'll try our best to include it in our future updates.

I agree with David. Also, I'm a sports events coordinator and it would be helpful to have these custom filters for customers to drill down to the specific type of event such as paddling, biking, etc.
This goes along with my wish for the ability to change HOST to ARTIST so user can search for events by Date, Venue or ARTIST.
