I know that events display for users in their native time zone, and I think that's a slick feature.
However, it would still be helpful for users to have an at-a-glance way of seeing the exact time-zone.
For example, it would say something like:
12-2pm EST
I think users typically expect to see what time zone an event is in, and when it isn't present that can be confusing.

Im with the others - seems incomplete not to be able to either select a time zone or see some notation that indicates where it defaults too. I think it would be useful

It also leaves room for error if you are setting up events in another city. Especially in advance. If I accidentally put in my time zone, or miss the time change. Would be nice if you could set all times with a time zone, and it auto adjusted, but still displayed time zone abbreviation
yes - agree! This makes it more confusing for people, I end up adding a disclosure so people know when the real time is.
