End dates for repeat periods

I wish you could customise repeat events, so that you could specify a date range for the repetition.

For example: if an event was running for 5 days in December, I would like to be able to set start date as 12-Dec-22, and set repeat daily until 05-Dec-22. Alternatively, you could specify number of repeats.

This functionality is available in Outlook and Mail calendars when setting up recurring meetings if you want to see it in action.

Please action this! :)

    Yes, we also think it will be a breakthrough when this feature has been released. We're working hard on our Event Calendar optimization at the moment, and chances are this behaviour will be improved as well :)

    Yes, I agree strongly with this request! This is an essential feature for my non-profit organization! I would really like to see this feature added as well as an overall improvement to the repeat event options. Currently, none of my repeat events are appearing on my calendar at all! As soon as a change the event to "does not repeat" if appears on the calendar.

    Additionally, if I add an event on a Wednesday, for example, the repeat option is reading "repeat every week on tuesday." All of the repeat options are one day off. major glitches happening in for repeat events all around.

    In addition to this request, I would like to be able to exclude certain dates of the repititon. E.g. for holidays this would be great and make the planning of repeating events so much more easy.

    I've been looking for an event calendar for ages and the one from elfsight is the closest one for what I need. This is the only feature missing!


    When this is added, I will definitely be getting the bundle subscription.
